Mark Mitron Interview Case Study
Mark Watney is alive and well! Now that we have communication with Mark we have decided to interview him. So Mark how're you doing today? “I'm just dandy thanks for asking, but it's a shithole up here and i want to leave”. Now throughout the whole interview Mark seemed quite agitated and used foul language even though our producer / reported Annie Montrose told him that this was being broadcasted and showed to everyone in the world. He then flicked off the camera to show he didn't care. From the end of our interview with Mark although it was short and sweet he basically just wants to come home. Also, he doesn't blame his crew for leaving him because they didn't know and he doesn't want them to beat up on themselves over something like that.

When I watched the Winterbourne secret filming you were shown clippings of a young man called Simon. This showed evidence of a support worker named Wayne Rogers, slapping and punching Simon. Simon’s family requested to see some of the footage that was secretly filmed. They were horrified and shocked to think that the support worker found it ‘funny’ that this behavior was appropriate. Simons Mother and Father looked deeply upset and angry at the footage they had seen. Simon’s mother explained how he had never been treated like this before at home.…

People from different parts of the world have been migrating to the United States for hundreds of years. During the 1920s and 1950s, there was a huge wave of Italian immigrants voyaging to our country. More than four million Italians had left their country and traveled by boat for seven dreadful, agonizing days before arriving in America. Travelers took their first steps on U.S. soil in Ellis Island, the federal immigration station, where Italians had to pass medical and legal inspections before being allowed to enter the United States. This dramatic surge in immigration was brought upon by Italians desperately trying to escape their poverty-stricken lives in pursuit of the American Dream. Upon arriving to America, Italians hoped for better lives with more job opportunities and better education.…

Structured interview is a specific set of questions that can be asked to any person to help diagnose an abnormal psychological disorder. Before I began my structured interview I read through the set of questions to get the flow of the interview. I also tried to imagine what a person might hold back about and made some side notes on how I would try to encourage the patient to give more information. I have not given many formal interviews such as the structured interview. If I were to become a clinician I would probably prefer the unstructured format. However I did learn several things about clinical interviews and there were things that I did and did not like. In the following paragraphs I will describe my trial experience.…
