She was a gymnast and made me want to be a famous gymnast. Lastly, the person I think is a leader is John Dimaggio. He was a voice actor on Adventure Time and it made me want to be a voice actor too. A dictionary definition of a leader is a guiding hand in a movement or group. My definition of a leader is someone who stands out amongst the rest and steps up to the task and helps the “followers” advance and strive to become a leader as well. The only way a leader can be effective is by leading by example. A prime example of this is Malala Yousafzai. She was shot in the face for trying to go to school. If she hadn’t gone to school she wouldn’t have been shot, but she also wouldn’t have a Nobel Peace prize. She is now using her story to speak for access to education for everyone. A leader is someone who leads by example and uses their skills to help others succeed.…

Major Winters was a member of the U.S. Army who server during WWII as an officer who moved up through the ranks to become company commander of Company "E", 2nd Battalion, 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 101st Airborne Division. He was a natural leader who believed that his great service was due to the men that served under him, and his success as a war hero could not have been obtained unless the men under him believed in his cause. Major Winters was proven to be selfless in his actions and decisions time after time and beat the thought to be unobtainable goals during his command throughout the war. He participated in all 3 major jumps by the 101st Airborne during WWII and lead his men based on the relationship theory where as he motivated and inspired his troops by helping the group members see the higher good of the task. He understood that not one man alone could accomplish such a task, and it would take the hard work and dedication of every member that served under him to obtain such goals. Leaders are the role models of society because people follow them. For example in the story called Life in Troll Country the trolls killed the King. After the King was killed the trolls were unable to make good decisions when they were faced with a problem. For instance, when the trolls suffered a drought there were mass food shortages throughout the country. Also, when the trolls where deciding to build a bridge the loudest troll with an armed group of followers was the only troll that made the decision of how the bridge was going to be built. This example displays that without a leader to guide society during tough situations then society will suffer.…

My first leader is Henry Ford. Henry Ford founded the Ford Motor Company. He is also known for inventing “Fordism” Fordism is the organizing of mass production or more commonly known as the assembly line. Henry Ford was able to more efficiently make automobiles with this concept and lower prices. Since he was able to lower prices and be more profitable, he was able to better pay his employees and offer better benefits, which attracted some of the best mechanics across the nation to Detroit (Americanism and Fordism). Henry Ford was an innovator; he used the marketing mix to become a successful entrepreneur. His company still exists today, over a hundred years later, and was actually profitable in the fiscal year 2010, unlike other automobile companies, like GM, asking for government…
