Marijuana Addiction

The social issue I will be talking about is marijuana addiction. Nowadays marijuana usage is very common throughout the United States because of its legalization in some states. It is also very common throughout teens and is very likely for them and many others to become addicted. In my opinion I believe marijuana is addictive because I went to school with many people who had tried it one time and suddenly became addicted and started changing, drastically. It began to affect their social life because they were hanging out with people who would use marijuana and their grades were affected, especially. Also when people start to become addicted to marijuana they may start to use other drugs because they think if marijuana has such a good effect on them there can be other drugs that can make them feel even better. “Long-term marijuana abuse can lead to addiction. I also agree with it affecting your everyday activities because it can slow down your thinking process especially if you are a recreational user.
