Particularly, the creases at the center of the dress shows a bow-like design leading to ruffles going on the side of her body. The ruffles toward the end of the dress are overlapping on top of each other, casting more shadows. These creases deliberately cast shadows that gives the sculpture a more dimensional showcase. This dress was intentionally slipped off of her shoulders, showing her sagging breast. This is another detail that the artist include to tell the audience that she is aging.
