Thomas collapsed on his bed. He needed to talk to someone. He found his found his phone and decided to call Manuel, though he wasn ´t really interested in Thomas´s love life.

„Manuel! I´m the happiest person alive!!“ Thomas yelled.

„Uh..what happened?“ Manuel sounded tired.

„I can´t believe it...shit...it is only a dream...OUUCH!“

„What have you just done?“

„I pinched myself! It is not a dream...Yoohoo! I´m so happy! I´m so happy. I need to find a playlist of happy songs on youtube!“

„Will you finally tell me what happened?“

Bayern won against Frankfurt 3:1 and Mario scored a goal. Thomas really enjoyed the game, bur he couldn´t wait to the next morning. He lied on his bed. He was thinking. What if Mario only fooled him? Why would he want to finish the interview? Thomas was unsure. He wanted to stay positive, but he didn´t want to look like a fool. Next morning Thomas wondered. He s came downstars and sat to the table. He ordered a tea and waited for Mario. It was nine o´ clock and Mario wasn´t there. Thomas started to lose his hope. He was just sitting there sadly and reading Mario´s questions from the previous evening. He wanted to cry. He was fooled. He was ashamed. He was beaten, he wanted to run away. 9:15 and he finished his tea. He paid it and was on his way to his apartman. He met Mario on the

Really? That´s nice.“ Mario grinned. Thomas just nodded. He still felt shy around Mario. It wasn´t like talking to Manuel or Christoph. Even when knew Christoph for few hours, he didn´t feel shy around him at all. When he talked to Mario he always blushed and acked very shy. It was probably, because Mario was his favourite footballer, but i was still different.

„Do you often watch Bayern games at the stadium?“ Mario continued asking.

„Every game...“ Thomas admited.

„So you are a huge fan, aren´t you?“ Mario was surprised.

„My friends say I´m fanatic Bayern fan..“ He laughed awkwardly. They kept talking. They talked about random things and they both felt relaxed. Thomas felt sad when Mario told him he had to go. He knew he probably wouln´t see him again. Thomas waved him and turned, when Mario called his name. He turned. He didn´t know what to expect. What would happen in romantic film? Thomas thought. He scared himself. Mario sheepishly smiled at him.

„Uh..I-I really enjoyed talking to you...“ He managed to say. Again.

„Yeah. Me too...“

„Maybe we can meet and have a chat again...What do you think? We both live in Munich so...“ Thomas´s heard wanted to jump off his chest. He wanted to sing and dance and jump and fly and do whatever people do when they are super happy.

„It would be perfect...“ He pretented to be

We are gathered here today to acknowledge a terrible loss; the loss of Thomas (or as some may have called him, Piggy). Thomas was an intelligent boy, and a good friend. I first met Thomas a couple hours after we crash landed onto that dreaded island. I made fun of him initially, by calling him Piggy in front of the other kids, even though he told me not to. But I apologized and we ended up becoming good friends. In our first couple days, Thomas didn’t want to play because of his asthma. I remember one time when I was swimming, he was standing on the shore watching, complaining about his asthma. I told him “Sucks to your assmar” and he ended up coming in, despite his asthma. From then on Thomas participated a lot more and was a bit more outgoing. While I was the leader, Thomas was the brains and advised me on various things. Without him we wouldn’t have made it far on that atrocious island. No one else seemed to realise how valuable Thomas was, as everyone else on the island disliked Thomas and saw him as whiny and annoying. I managed to get past that and saw him for who he truly was: an intelligent rational boy who was in need of a friend. I took pity, on Thomas: a boy who was made fun of his whole life. I stood up for him, talked to him, and played with him even while the others didn’t. In return he comforted me when Simon died, and stayed by my side through the entirety of our stay on that island.…

But from his cringing attitude he would seem to an outsider the one being flailed. With burning-red face, the woman accepts the role of aggressor as penance for the fact, the incessant shameful fact that he has to wrestle with the world while she hides here, in solitude, at home. This is normal, but does not seem to them to be so.” He stated in his writing that ‘his father’ caused him to be depressed which made him hate life. He moves back and forth from the dark past and bring the readers back into present which makes it hard for the reader to understand at times. The writing shows that it’s hard for the father to see his son go through hard times, but also happy to see him be successful. He is wonderful to watch, playing soccer. Smaller than the others, my son leaps, heads, dribbles, feints, passes. When a big boy knocks him down, he tumbles on the mud, in his green-and-black school uniform, in an ecstasy of falling. I am envious. Never for me the jaunty pride of the school uniform, the solemn ritual of the coach's pep talk, the camaraderie of shook hands and slapped backsides, the shadow-striped hush of late afternoon and last quarter, the solemn vaulted universe of official combat, with its cheering mothers and referees striped like zebras and the bespectacled timekeeper alert with his…
