Maniac Magee Book Report

My book report is on the book ‘Maniac Magee’ by Jerry Spinelli. The reason why I chose ‘Maniac Magee’ is because I love Jerry Spinelli books. They’re always very good. ‘Maniac Magee’ is kind of a ‘warm-your-heart’ book.

I’ll tell you a little about the story, but not a lot, because I don’t want to spoil it for you! The story is about a young boy that runs away from his new home and the few new friends he meets along the way. Some of the characteristics about Magee are that he is sad a lot, he runs a way a lot, and he doesn’t trust a lot of people.

Magee is also a pretty nice guy once he stops running and he gets a chance to talk to someone. He doesn’t understand a lot of stuff that is going on in his life at the time. Magee just
