Challenges: How to better manage its systems and its projects to lower operating costs.
Why :
a. Project management will be more competitive by entering a ruthless and constant evolving sector (Smartphone) and being more efficient on coordinating its IT
(Multinational firm)
b. Project management will be more cost efficient by coping with the economic downturn
(by saving money and increasing efficiency) and it will better coordinate 1800 IS and
1500 IS employees for 1000 projects per year (avoiding redundant working)
