Bollywood actor Ranvir Singh is going to go the extra mile and go bald for his role in the ace filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s upcoming magnum opus Bajirao Mastani. The Ranvir Singh and Deepika Padukone starrer is all set to go on floors and will also star Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra in a pivotal role.

After the phenomenal success of 'Ram-Leela’, the rumored couple teams up once again for this movie. Ranvir has taken the role very seriously and will also take Marathi lessons fro a tutor he has hired, to deliver the dialgoues more convincingly. He can speak Marathi but now he will work on finer details like the pronunciations and the dialect.

"I have allotted fair amount of time to prepare for this film. It is a large commitment for me to give (time) for one project, but the film demands it and I am more than happy to do it. I believe in the director and the film. Through this film we are trying to achieve something that hopefully will be landmark in our cinema,” the actor said.

The movie which is not even in the shooting stage has already created a lot of buzz because of the star cast and also for the fact that this story has been very close to Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s heart. He has been planning to make this movie right after he had made ‘Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam’ with Bollywood actors Salman Khan and Aishwary Rai.

Bollywood actress and former Miss World Aishwarya Rai Bachchan who was supposed to walk the red carpet today at the Cannes Film Festival 2014, missed her first appearance because of the delay in the flight in which she was travelling from London to Nice.

Because of the cancellation, her team is making arrangements to fix another date for her appearance at the film festival. She is expected to walk the red carpet with her daughter Aaradhya Bachchan.
