Man of the House

For my ancient shield project I used the quote, “Wisdom is knowing what to do next; skill is knowing how to do it, and virtue is doing it.” I believe this quote can mean different things. One: it can mean that virtue is stronger than both your wisdom and skill. Two: it could mean that in order to accomplish something you will need the wisdom, skill, and virtue to do it correctly. I believe this can relate to my family because we try our hardest at everything and we are smart enough to use our skill to get our virtue to do it.

My family symbol is a suitcase which represents how much my family travels. We have gone to most of the states and the main cities in Mexico like Cancun, Acapulco, and Mexico City. This spring break we are going to Europe to visit my family. The suitcase can also mean we are always on the go. My mom is a politician so she has a lot of work and my step-dad works from home so he usually ends up taking me and my little sister to school and picks us up.

My symbols are a volleyball and a music note. I love music, I listen to it every day when I am doing homework, eating dinner, and getting ready for bed. I learned to play the piano when I was seven and now I am starting to learn how to play the guitar. I put the volleyball on my shield because I love playing volleyball. I recently hurt my knee in volleyball and my coach told me that I could not play the next two weeks. Well nothing can hold me back from doing what I love to do most. I learned to play volleyball in fifth grade and have been playing every since.

My symbol for my future is a FBI badge because when I grow up I want to become part of the Federal Bureau of Investigation. I know it sounds crazy and trust me plenty of people have told me that too but it has been a dream of mine for a long time. I believe I have many of the things necessary to become an agent.
