male and female friends
I picked this topic because I have a lot of female friends and a lot of male friends too. I’m going to talk about things you can do when you hang out with them, what you can tell them when it is good to hang out with them. There are many differences between the two. Female friends are good for a lot of things they understand more than boys do. Male friends are good to have for telling them about all the things you can’t tell your girlfriends. Girls you can go shopping with get your hair done with, get your nails done. Boys you can do sports, go to the movies, go to epic wave, classic.

In the first paragraph I’m going to talk about the female friends. Female friends are great to have especially when you’re a girl. Female friends you can go shopping with. Girls you can go get your hair done and your nails done with them at a salon. Some girlfriends you can’t really trust because it’s a proven fact that girls can’t keep a secret for more than 32 minutes. Girls understand things like bad hair days, boys, and family. Girls are good to have because sometimes you just need to have a girl’s night or girl’s weekend.

In this paragraph I’m going to talk about male friends. Male friends are good to have because sometimes you just need to get away from your girlfriends. Male friends you can tell them anything and they will listen to you. Boys can keep secrets. If you just want to hang out with your guy friends you can like do sports if you’re that type of girl. Boys can help you to understand boys. You probably won’t fight with the male friend

In this paragraph I’m going to talk about the same things about the two. Girlfriends, boyfriends, you can all hang out together. You can all go to the movies together. Girls understand girls, girls understand boys. You can trust both in your deepest darkest secrets. You can hang out with them when you just want to have fun.

In this paragraph I’m going to talk about the differences between the two. Some of the differences

This article describes both normative changes and individual differences in the gender composition of girls' and boys' friendship networks across adolescence and predicts variations in these changes. It also examines changes in the characteristics (context, age difference, closeness, and support) of same- and other-sex friendships in the network. Girls and boys (N=390) were interviewed annually from Grades 6 to 10 (76% retention). Growth in the proportion of other-sex friends was significantly more pronounced for girls and was related to different predictors for girls and boys. Moreover, over time, girls had other-sex friends that were increasingly older than themselves, and most of these friendships took place outside of the school, which was not the case for boys. Growth in the proportion of other-sex friends was more pronounced for secondary than for best friends. Finally, both girls and boys reported receiving higher levels of help from girls than from boys. These findings suggest that other-sex friendships might place some of the girls on a problematic developmental trajectory.…

Friends are that great blessing from God in order to provide us with the ultimate support when life becomes so tough and disappointing. A real friend is simply recognized throughout difficult situations when he or she tries to put your advantages over his or her own advantages. For instance, when you are struggling to pay off your bank loan, a real friend will surely care to help you even with a little money while others just looking with sympathy. True friendship means understanding and knowing how your friend is feeling and what mood they are in by the way they are acting, but no matter how many fights and arguments that you and your friends get into it does not matter because true friendship always prevails.James Miller once said that “A friend is someone who knows you as well or better than you know yourself.”(113). those words could not be any truer. Friendship is something that is forged and made over many years and memories.. For many people they become friends when they are children because they grew up and made memories. Other people make friends in school or while out in the workforce. Although for many teens and children including myself, I made many of my true friends while…

Ladies first. Female friends are always there when you need to talk, or when you just want to have some fun and go crazy. If one correctly follows the concrete-set stereotype employed by society, girls are your emotion go getters. Break out the chocolate therapy and chick flicks, because if you’re in a ditch and seek some advice, this is your girl friend’s kryptonite. Come to her with your problems and she’d be listening with all ears and an open heart, willing to do all that she can to make you smile again, even if this may require a few white lies once in a blue moon. Girls are also typically more stuck up than your average guy pal. In other terms, a girl’s tendency to overreact to minute situations leads to three results- drama; gossip, and cat fighting. Movies and books throughout the world such as “Mean Girls” or Twilight, are perfect examples of how real life females can get. Not to say that they can’t be just as powerful as a loving friends, but if their button is pushed just a…

Another important aspect to consider is the places to go out. I think I have more options with female friends than with male friends. With female friends you can go shopping, since girls can shop forever with no problem. Also girls can go to clubs together and get discounts on drinks, just because they are women. A male friend doesn’t like to shop as much as females. One advantage is you can go to clubs with men and never feel alone, because he is always going to be taking care of you.…

According to the researched done in 2000 by Keith Davis, teenage friendships tend to grow hate or jealousy in between one another. This is when problems start to develop such as not being honest with each other. Another problem found in a research done in the 80’s was that opposite-sex friendships might not be considered a friendship at all. When a female and male are friends one of them starts to grow feelings, or they both grow feelings. That’s when the friendship turns into something emotional and sexual. It falls into the friends with benefits or the love category.…

Friendship between two people of different genders may sound commonplace, in fact there are people who are great colleagues who share something in common, but ... you can call it friendship? Although we are used to socially friendships only exist between same sex and that the friendship between a woman and a man is hiding something more, in fact friendship is a relationship that builds over time and is based to share tastes, experiences, and other affinities that go beyond the sex of the person. Friends should be chosen based on the similarities and not based on sex. But it should be noted that a friendship between a man and a woman can lead to form a couple, if both are willing to risk that may imply, because if the relationship does not work can never back to maintain a friendship as they had previously.…

Females have more trust in each other. When females hang out they talk about their emotions causing them to feel closer. We talk about anything from boyfriends, to family, to school. Females also tell each other that they love the other. We have more physical contact by hugging, or kissing on the cheek. We also need emotional support from a friend, they don’t have to do anything just be there for each other. They would tell the other what they would do in that situation, or what they should do. We also hang out a lot, by going out to eat, shopping, or to the movies.…
