Introduction to the Case I and my friends Bill Mates & Steve Hobs were watching Yankees games when we saw a commercial about a board game. Throughout the rest of the game we were thinking of how to make money using some great idea. All the three think of an idea to go into a business together. But there has to be an idea to sell. Bill says that he has vast experience in coding software so they should think of developing an operating system to compete with Microsoft windows. Magic Wand Remote Control can be applied for practical usage by people. It is feasible to make that product with combination of existing technologies like remote control and infrared receivers. Magic Wand Remote Control can be used by people to make their life and efforts easier. The idea is novel to existing close competitors. The competitors of Magic Wand Remote Control provide remote control access using a mobile app or remotely. Some existing devices also provide remote operations of television in a house or room. However, Magic Wand Remote Control is different from existing products as it provides remote access to all the electronic and electrical devices at a home when the user uses the remote control being at home. It does not allow controlling of devices from anywhere in the world. This will eliminate the need of multiple remote controls to control television, music system, home theatre, air conditioners, fans, lights, automated gates, microwave oven, electric chimney, cooking ranges, etc. The unique design of magic wand is easy to carry, light in weight, low on radiation, consumer less battery and user friendly with very easy automated operations. The invention of Magic Wand Remote Control is "obvious to a person with ordinary skill of art" as the concept is similar to that of remote control but it can be used on multiple gadgets. The invention will also be disclosed in the application in a manner so that it is clear and sufficient. Since, Magic Wand Remote Control qualifies for all the aspects of being a "patentable subject matter" it can quality for patent. The patents will be applied for the target markets (Brazil, South Africa, and India).

Mike and Ted could start convincing me for investing in their business by explaining their business and how much profit it would create. I would like to know this because it would give me a better understanding as to if I would get my full investment back. Another thing I would like to know is if there is a place for their business in the marketplace. This is based on supply and demand. If there is a demand for a business like Mike and Ted than it would make sense to invest my money into their business. However, Mike and Ted need to convince me that their business would be different, and show how it’s better than all the other businesses just like theirs. An additional way to persuade me into investing my $10,000 would be to explain how they would manage their business. Overall, Mike and Ted would have to present how they would bring in venture capital for the business. Just selling their pitch in an interesting way would suffice my…

The typical American family has on average four remote controls in their household. Look around the room and count how many you have in your house. I count five in just this room alone, not including the wireless mouse and keyboard I am using right now to type this paper. Everyone has seen remote controls for televisions, VCRs, and stereos. However, can you imagine a remote control that can also control lights, the temperature, drapes, and even the front door lock! Remote controls have come along way since their first uses mainly for military purposes during WWI and WWII. There have been many different types of remote controls invented, some, which have helped society develop, and others that have led to our demise. Throughout this paper, you will learn about how the many different uses of remote controls have helped accomplish tasks once inconceivable by a human alone, but also have led western civilization into a "lazy" society. In addition, you will learn about the man who invented the first wireless remote control and other types of remotes used in modern day technology.…
