BUS322 Organizational Behavior

Abstract

As an owner of a business there must be an understanding that employees go through many different feelings due to the stressors the company many bring, To run a great company there must be work teams for the company that will address issues of group behavior development and decision making. There are at least two best practices based on an analysis of traditional, contemporary, and emerging leadership theories, In most cases interpersonal conflict is expected.

Introduction

The climbing figures are hard to ignore, nearly three-quarters of American workers surveyed in 2007 reported experiencing physical symptoms of stress. It is hard to ignore the stress affects of American companies, according to statistics two-thirds of workers say that work is the main cause of stress in their lives.The likely stressors employees in my company would face would have to be coming to work on a daily basis with a positive attitude and meeting their numbers on a daily basis for the sake of the companies revenues. I will be discussing the best possible work teams for my company, addressing issues of group behavior, development, and decision making. Also will discuss my company’s approach to leadership and make recommendations for at least 2 best practices based on an analysis of traditional, contemporary, and emerging leadership theories. And what I do when the most likely cause of interpersonal conflict you would expect to see in your company and how you would mitigate the conflicts you identified.

Analyze the likely stressors employees in your company would face and make at least two (2) recommendations for reducing the stressor(s) you identified.

My employees at Verizon wireless carry a lot of weight on their back, I run the bilingual call center and we are expected to give the best service possible there is to be on a daily
