No life So his father, Hans, sent him to numerous schools around Mansfeld, Magdeburg, and Eisenach. When he was 17, he entered the University of Erfurt in 1501. In just 1 short year, the young Luther earned his Bachelor’s degree in 1502. In addition 3 years later, in 1505, he received his Masters Degree. Luther then followed his father’s wishes and enrolled in law school at Erfurt.
