No life So his father, Hans, sent him to numerous schools around Mansfeld, Magdeburg, and Eisenach. When he was 17, he entered the University of Erfurt in 1501. In just 1 short year, the young Luther earned his Bachelor’s degree in 1502. In addition 3 years later, in 1505, he received his Masters Degree. Luther then followed his father’s wishes and enrolled in law school at Erfurt. However, when he was traveling in the summer of 1505, a terrible thunderstorm hit and he made a promise to God that he would become a monk if he livedMartin Luther King is a well known, inspiring man, to all cultures of the world. King was and still is one of the most influential heroes. King 's views and beliefs, which were similar to the non-violent ideas of Gandhi, helped African Americans through the 50 's and 60 's obtain the rights and liberties that was their birth right. King faced many obstacles on his quest like jail and even assassination attempts. Despite these obstacles, he became a successful leader during the Civil Rights Movement, and even after his death, by guiding African Americans in a non-violent and positive direction for the fight to secure rights and equality....
