Macey Clare In Burning Up
In the novel Burning Up by Caroline B. Cooney the Main character is Macey Clare. At the beginning of the novel Macey keeps to herself and is not very outgoing. Then when her hair gets burned off she realizes that she needs to find out things with the fire of 1959. In the end, she becomes more adventurous and persistent. This relates to the theme Persistence will get you farther in life. The main character Macey changes from the beginning of the book to the end of it. In the beginning, she kept to herself.
