Macbook Pro Review
Apple has long been known for quality products that sometimes stretch what a consumer considers a fair price. This fact continues with Apples line of premium notebook computers, the MacBook Pro. Although many people feel that Apple overcharges for their notebooks, they must understand that it is hand built and made for power users. This is not a budget notebook. The Apple MacBook Pro with Retina display has truly been atop of the competition for quite some time now. This is thanks to Mac’s easy to use interface, sleek design and laptop durability and speed. Though other laptops give the MacBook Pro a run for its money, there is no denying that the MacBook Pro is the best laptop on the market today and I personally feel that this computer lives up to its premium price tag, so if you can afford it, this is one of the best notebooks that money can buy. Now it is fairly obvious that the average PC notebook will be substantially cheaper than the MacBook, but what most people do not understand is that unlike most companies, Apple does not have budget versions of their products, so in one way they are more expensive because there range is smaller and caters towards the higher end market, but in another way they are actually cheaper than a PC equivalent with the exact same specs. This is due in part to the intangibles that apple puts in to its notebooks. I will show why this is true in my review of the MacBook Pro. I will be judging the MacBook based on three categories, such as design, connectivity, and finally performance, but first I want to discuss what powers this model and its feature set. The MacBook Pro line is divided into two categories, which are separated by components, screen size and price. The cheapest versions are the 13inch models and they have slower cpu’s and are less powerful overall then the 15inch models. The MacBook Pro model I will be reviewing in more depth will be the mid-range 15inch, because it is generally the version that people

The 13-inch MacBook is the most liked laptop by the experts. It simply has everything most users need and want in design so superb that it’s now a modern icon. It has 12 hours plus battery life. The air keeps its 13-inch screen at just 1,440 by 900 pixels, which is somewhat low-resolution compared to its rivals and especially the 13-inch MacBook Pro. Airs screen probably saves both battery life and cost, and it’s still fantastic. The speakers sound…

One reason a Mac is often chosen over a PC is because of the price difference. Many people that set out to buy a brand new laptop want good quality. Good quality is often misinterpreted for a high price. While high price does not mean good quality, more than likely consumers that invest a decent amount of money into their laptops get what they have paid for. A Macbook generally is priced around $995 to $999. It is often called the $1,000 dollar laptop. Apple recently updated the Macbooks by adding more memory, redesigning the outside, and making it have a larger screen while keeping the price the same and at the $999. Getting an update without upping the price has got many consumers attentions and there is a hope that consumers truly are getting what they pay for.…

The sales for Mac laptops have gone up quite a bit over the last few years especially for college age kids. Ever been in a computer store and a guy in a nice dress coat with Khaki pants and leather Gucci shoes on, walk and just chuckles at you because you are looking at a Windows PC? Well, chances are that it was either a Mac user. "Mac user interviewed and self-admitted as filling cool, artsy, higher in the social society, and often harassed PC owners trying to get them to switch”. (Firmin 2) If one wants to get more value for their money then they will want to look at nothing else but PC. If one was to take the money that a Mac owner spent and upgrade a PC with the same amount, they would have a much better system than the Mac owner. Macs hardware is well built and appealing but is expensive. Most of their laptops have SATA hard drives which are fast but are short on memory and don't come with DVD players or HDMI ports and the batteries are not removable. PCs on the other hand plenty of design, specification, and price options. Hardware for PC runs from topnotch to trash, with the prices matching the quality.…

Generally speaking, the MAC computer is more expensive than a PC computer. The cost alone would be more attractive to a home consumer. A consumer would be able to purchase a PC computer for about 1/3rd of the cost of a MAC computer, and get the same use out of it. Therefore, because the PC computer is more affordable than the MAC computer, home users generally purchase PC computers.…

We all know that Macintoshes are more expensive than PCs, right? Not entirely: It is more correctly said that Macs are more competitive in some price ranges configurations than in others. At the low end, the PC is less expensive than the Mac—if you can do without Macs multimedia and connectivity capabilities, but more expensive if you can 't do without them. However, at the high end, the design focus is on multimedia processes and this is where the PCs just aren 't competitive from both hardware or cost perspectives. Apple does not charge for client access rights onto a server, whereas Microsoft charges $3,295 for a 25-user license. Persons in the market for a computer for a specific use are, more often than not, craving quality. People will continuously pay much more for quality, reliability, and a better experience all together.…

The Mac book Pro will give you more performance than you will know what to do with. If you are looking for a computer that is fast a lightening (literally), then there is no other option I have been having my laptop for about three years now, and it runs just like the first day I got it. Now that is amazing, thanks to Mac’s Intel Core i5 processor! Considering PC’s like to crash on you are run slower than your grandmother walks after the first year of ownership. Its extra long battery life of up to 7.5 hours is excellent, because wants the point of having a portable computer if you have to keep it plugged in all the time. It defeats the purpose and you might as well buy a desktop. The hardware on the Mac is built to last, and if you need a buddy you can rely on, I wouldn’t choose any other option, but this laptop.…
