Act I can best be represented by I Want It All by Queen. This song best represents this act because the act is mainly about Lady Macbeth trying to convince Macbeth that being Thane of Cowador isn’t enough he must be King and in order to do this he must kill King Duncan. In the song they talk about wanting it all and now which is exactly what Lady Macbeth wants she wants to be royalty and now otherwise they will lose their chance. Also in the song they say “Here’s to the future…” Lady Macbeth is trying to convince that killing Duncan can help his future me better as the new king.

Act II can best be represented by For Whom The Bell Tolls by Metallica. This is the best song to represent this act because it is all about death which is exactly what this act is about. In this act Macbeth kills an innocent man, Duncan because he wants to be king. The song is about the killing of five innocent men and about men going insane which in the story’s case would be Macbeth.

Act III is perfectly represented by the song Bring Me To Life by Evanescence because this act is about Macbeth killing Banquo and then having nightmares and seeing the ghost of Banquo in his home. The song is about feeling trapped in a dark place or feeling regret and wanting a new beginning to get out of the things you have done. The lyrics in this song describe this act perfectly, the song says, “Save me from the nothing I’ve become…” this describes the way Macbeth is now feeling he sees what he has turned into and is now feeling regretful because he believes Banquo is haunting him.

Act IV is about the killing of Macduff’s wife and child and Macduff deciding to rebel against Macbeth and end his devastating reign. This act would be best represented by the song We Are One by 12 Stones. The reason this song is the perfect choice is because it’s about people coming together and going to battle against their enemy and never backing down until they have achieved victory. They aren’t afraid of

In act 1 scene 5 is when Lady Macbeth found out the news about how Macbeth would become the Thane of Cawdor and king for the witches. I chose the song “I Want It All” by Queen to represent this scene. Part of the songs lyrics are “I want it all, I want it all, I want it all, and I want it now”. Lady Macbeth heard the news that he would be king and she right away wanted to accomplish that. She didn’t want to wait but instead she take the steps necessary to make Macbeth king as soon as possible.…

I think that the song Betrayed would be an appropriate theme song for King Duncan for a few different reasons. First off, as it says in the title of the song he betrayed by Macbeth. The song itself is written about a guitarist of a very popular band from the 80s and 90s called Pantera, who was shot and killed while on stage by one of his fans. Fans to rock and roll bands are like their loyal subjects and this fan betrayed him by killing him which is why this song fits the bill for King Duncan as one of his loyal subjects murdered him.…

The song mentions that no one can stop him, and that is what Macbeth thinks. Also, the song is portraying confidence that no one will get in his way. A characteristic of Macbeth is confidence. He first gets confidence from the witches by the witches told him that he would become Thane of Cawdor and become king. He became Thane of Cawdor, so he thought he would become king. After he becomes king, the witches give him confidence again by tricking him and telling him that he is invincible. After Macbeth realizes that he was tricked, he fought Macduff to the death and ends up dying. A line from the song says that they will fight til its over, and by over for Macbeth, it means the end of his reign and…

In the begging where it started off with three creepy witches cackling as they were discussing when they'll meet again, and decide to hook up "When the hurly-burly's done, when the battle's lost and won."(line 3-4) The implication is that they've been up to something really bad. They let the audience in on their plan to meet some guy name Macbeth. And then cut to post-battle, where we learn that this Macbeth has been kicking serious tail in battle so much that King Duncan has decided to give him the title Thane of Cawdor. He's prancing home on a dark and stormy night after defending King Duncan in battle with some skilled enemy-disemboweling. Understandably, he's feeling pretty good about himself. The witches then call out to Graymalkin and Paddock, or spirits that serve the witches. All three witches start to say, "Fair is foul and foul is fair"(line10-11) before going back about their business. Just then, him and his good friend Banquo run into three bearded witches who rhymingly prophesy that Macbeth will be named Thane of Cawdor and King of Scotland. Just as Banquo is curious about his knowing what he will become. And then they begin to say “lesser than Macbeth and greater but not so much happy, yet much happier thou shalt get kings. Though thou be none”.(line 65-68) And what they mean by that is he will be fortunate than Macbeth and be father to a long line of future kings of Scotland though he will not be king himself. The next thing we know, a guy named Ross shows up to say that, since the old Thane of Cawdor turned out to be a traitor and is about to have his head chopped off and displayed on a pike, so Macbeth gets to take his place as Thane of Cawdor then that takes care of the first prophecy. His ambitious wife, Lady Macbeth, prods him into acting like a man and killing King Duncan when the poor guy comes to Macbeth's castle for a friendly visit. When Macduff finds the king's dead body,…

In Act 3, Macbeth’s ambition is portrayed apparently by his decision to kill Banquo. Lady Macbeth has brought that ambition to Macbeth strongly before in Act 2. In Act 2, Lady Macbeth shows her control over every decision Macbeth makes. However, in Act 3, the audience can see the change in action between Macbeth and Lady Macbeth. Macbeth seems to be more actively gives every decision in his scheme to make his ambition come true, and Lady Macbeth does not control Macbeth’s decision anymore.…

William Shakespeare has written many plays during his time such as the tragic tale of Romeo and Juliet or the the tale of Hamlet. The one to be most famous for is the tale of Macbeth. This is a play about the quest for power and what people are willing to do to get it, this case is to commit murders in order to achieve victory. Or to hide the true desires behind a “mask”, that camouflages the ambitious trait that is in us all. Throughout this play, Macbeth experiences a rollercoaster feeling of despair. Which means the complete loss or absence of hope. This shows throughout the book and throughout Act 5…

The song I Just Can’t Wait to be King, which appears in the movie The Lion King, is about Simba yearning to be king. This mimics Macbeth’s state of mind after he hears the witches’ three predictions, the last of them being of him becoming a king. As soon as he heard the prediction, he got so enthralled that he didn’t listen to reason, or even question the validity of the witches’. In Act 1 Scene 5, in his letter to Lady Macbeth, he writes “‘Hail, king that shalt be.' This have I thought good to deliver thee, my dearest partner of greatness, that thou might’st not lose the dues of rejoicing, by being ignorant of what greatness is promised thee”(Shakespeare 1.5.9-12). He is evidently just as excited as Simba was while singing “Oh, I just can’t wait to be king!”…

Throughout Act I in Shakespeare’s Macbeth, the character Macbeth struggles with the Weird Sisters’ prophecy predicting his Scottish kingship. Macbeth believes the only way for him to rise to power is through murder. After contemplating whether or not to kill Duncan, the current king, Macbeth ultimately decides to follow through in order to gain status and power. As an audience member, I do not feel sympathy for Macbeth as he independently and consciously betrays his morals and noble duties.…

“Macbeth,” by William Shakespeare is a caper about a man’s ambition that drives him crazy to the extent of murdering, and the man is Macbeth. Throughout the play the audience is introduced to many incidents and themes; some were brutal and some were not. This enactment of Act 3 scene 4 will be revealing the brutal change of Macbeth’s ambition. Ambition appears throughout the play and manipulates the parts in the same way ambition manipulates reality. Mankind’s biggest weakness is ambition, but ambition is also a strong point. William Shakespeare uses imagery, theme, phrasing, and symbolism in this transit, which establishes the characters look more evil than guilty.…
