In MRM, the nurse understands the patient by viewing it according to the patient’s perspective from her experiences (world), which is the “modeling” part. The “role- modeling” is using Miss X model of her world and develop interventions based on her perceived needs to heal in order to set specific mutual goals. Erickson (2014) concluded that all humans have the desire to live happy, healthy, and have a purpose in life (Erickson, 2014).
