Strong, bold, and smart are some of the characteristics describe Lynn Tilton,
a businesswoman who has capitalized on failing businesses, turning their debt into profit. Even with great ideas it takes great leadership to get you to the top, and great management to maintain the success. Her charisma, plan execution, and understanding and using her influenced has been some of the reasons why Lynn is a power house today. A leader is someone who is able to influence others to achieve a common goal. Someone of the things that make her a leader is things like her charisma. A lot of her charisma is seen throughout this article, we see her way of conversing with others isn’t simple yes know or politically correct for the matter. She’s very witty and not afraid to express herself, even the description of her office is unique. Also she’s aware of her power and influence, she knows how to handle herself as a female in a predominately male industry and not afraid to dish out whatever is thrown her way. Lynn led herself to the top but through great management she was able to stay there. Her plan was to trade debt but while executing those goals she saw an opportunity for turning the distressed companies into profitable companies and executed a plan that turned into a business grossing 8 billion dollars as of 2013. Now at 52 she doesn’t seem to be missing a step and by the looks of thing will continue to achieve whatever goals she chooses to set.
