In the book Luna by, Julie Anne Peters which is a young adult fiction novel. This book takes place at the high school that they attend and also in their home.
The book is about Liam who is also known as Luna. Liam is a transgender teenager that is struggling with coming out to his parents and to the world. He was a male physically and a woman mentally, he decided that he wanted to change his name to Luna because he could be his true self at night.
Regan is Luna’s younger sister, she is also a very important character in the book. She is the only person that Luna fully trusts. Luna can be his true self when he is around her because she knows who he truly both inside and out. The problem is that Liam is a teen that does not really fit in
