Life Styles Inventory

The Life Styles Inventory (LSI) identifies the underlying thoughts and motivations that guide an individual's behavior. The quality of an individual's thinking and behavior contributes greatly to that person's work performance. The Life Styles Inventory (LSI) is based around the Human Synergistic Circumplex, describing constructive, passive/defensive and aggressive/defensive behaviors. In the LSI, the feedback is normed against how 9,000 individuals have described themselves (LSI 1) and how 5,000 individuals have been described by 25,000 others (LSI 2). At times when I experience problems in thinking, I feel as though I lack the skills to identify and fix the problems. Take my job for example, when dealing with irate customers I take a step back and look at it from their perspective; however, I feel as though I lack the confidence to help the customers fix their problems. There are also times when it’s busy and short drivers, I have to come up with a decision that requires me to think things through before making a final decision. Since I am a dispatcher, it is up to me to ensure the drivers arrive at their destination within twenty minutes and ensure all drivers get their turn at running calls.…
