Why the heck are the people saying that? 16 is low enough, anything lower is just suicide. Now if anything good about it would be this. Parent wouldn't have to drive there kids to work of friends houses. But really when you have a kid you know you are going to have to do that, its part of being a parent. Think about the parents would feel if their kids were driving earlier. They would be continently worrying about them. Kids would most likely start to drink and party, because they would be alone with friends a lot more. So many kids would also be drinking and driving. So even more kids would be dieing just from one law being changed. So lowering the age for driving if defiantly out of the question. That will cause a lot of controversy with teens, because they have to wait longer to drive. Parents may be happier and worry free but they will have to drive their kids around for 2 extra years. By doing this most drivers on the road will be much more responsible when they drive. No more little kid games and taking be risks. They will be adults they will know what is right and wrong and will not attempt to take unnecessary risks. Now a bad thing is, no kids will be able to drive to school. So there parents will have to drive there kids to every schools function there is throughout their high school life. Also many kids, like myself, will be graduating when they are 17, so how are the supposed to go to collage without a license. Yet the newer generation is less responsible then
