Love: Family and Mom
Tribute to Moo Commermorative Speech tribute to my mom.

There are so many important people that come in and out of your life. By far the most important person to me, who has really contributed to my upraising would be my mom, Darlene Stabler aka moo. She is by far the sweetest person I have ever met. She always puts others before herself and truly is selfless. Although she has gone through so many rough patches in her life she is still a great role model and has great morals. I hope to be half the woman she is, when I'm her age. Saying my mom is sweet isn't even close to describing how amazing she really is. She is so caring for everyone around her, and she's completely honest. I remember one time in the Publix parking lot she found a $10 bill on the ground and, bless her little heart she took it inside to the Customer service desk and turned it in! Lets be honest here. I'm pretty sure 99% of other people would have taken it. I know I would have. But that right there attributes to good karma. And this woman I'm sure has the best. She is so genuine, and real that you have to like her or feel the need to talk to this warm, sweet, whole heart-ed woman. My mom is not only a role model but a friend and who can listen to whats going on with me and help me through my life struggles. She is so quick to put a smile on my face and cheer me up whether its telling a funny joke or just putting mentally supporting me. Although I've been going on about how sweet my mom is she has also hardened me up too. I've been taught to speak my mind and pursue what I want and let my dreams come true. She really only wants the best for everyone around her and is completely selfless. If she was on her last dollar and the both of you were broke and hungry without a doubt she'd give it to you for a Mcdouble. She is so concerned about everybody else. Look up the word helpful and I bet you'll see my moms name listed under there. She is always with arms wide open and

My Mom is my role model. I guess this is due to the fact that I used to scarcely see my Dad because he comes home really late; he still does, though not as late, while my Mother took care of me ever since she quit the job as the General Manager when I was in 2nd grade. She is the one who is there for me whenever I have a problem, like a robot on standby, but she is also a harsh whip with her discipline though she never hit me. My most notable memory of my Mom is when I sucked at math in 3rd grade. I don't know how to do a problem so naturally, I asked her. However, after she taught the same problem 4 times, I still didn't get it. I was afraid she would get mad, but she didn't and in the end when I finally got it, I asked her why she is so patient. She simply replied "practice makes perfect", an old…

One of the heroic traits I see in my mom is that she is always there for me no matter what. This very special role model made me feel like I could take on the world just because she cared. Once my boyfriend’s mom found out I was sleeping in her son’s car she wanted to sit down and talk to me. I was scared at first because this was also my first time meeting her as well. She told me not to be scared and that I was not in trouble. I told her about how my stepmom had me withdraw from high school. I also told her that my stepmom had choked me. I told her I loved her son and that no one was going to force me to date someone I had no attraction to. She listened as I told her everything and then she asked me where my real mom was at, I told her when I was 6 years old my real mom had a mental break down and left me and my two older siblings in a hotel in Texas.…

n our lives there is always a person that we look up to and admire. With that in mind we take examples from there lives and try to make the best of ours. Growing up I had a lot of persons that I strongly looked up to and admired, but the person that made a great impact and left a footprint in my journey of life would be my mother. She was always the person that had a smile on her face when things didn’t seem perfect, or the person that danced when every one else didn’t feel like it. As a teenager I wanted someone to tell me right from wrong, or to direct me onto the right path, and she was the perfect example. She was always there when I needed her the most and never let me down, not even in the smallest moments. The out standing qualities that she possesses inspired me to be the person I am today. The faith and commitment she has dedicated to being a Christian is encouraging and motivating. She has shown to be the hardest worker I’ve ever known and taught me to do the same. Her goals were met with accuracy and persistence, never left unaccomplished and forgotten. Life wasn´t always perfect for her, she fought a lot for what she believed in and what was right, but despite the blocks she may had had in life she always knew how to get right back on track and be the supporting woman she is and has always been. She found a way to help others when she was the one that needed help,…
