Love Diane Ackerman Analysis

Love can mean many things to a person depending on their upbringing. Ones era, religion, gender, generation and so on can also play a big part on how a person looks at an intangible thing called love. But regardless of how you feel about that four letter word you can still agree that love an aspect of love is confusion because chaos is diverse, intangible, and vivid.
One reason why love is confusing is because it's such a diverse thing. Love doesn’t care whether your black or white, short or tall , or even boy or girl . Taken from "love's vocabulary" written by Diane Ackerman , it states in body four line 41 " We use the word love in such a sloppy way that it can mean almost nothing or absolutely everything." This can make love very confusing because love is so intangible that it cant be defined by any single emotion, because it is every emotion. " What this means is basically that love is like a book and every page of that book equals one emotion . Everything would be new, especially her ability to stroke the wall and make light flood the room, touch the wall elsewhere and fill the room with summer’s warm breezes or winter’s blast. In conclusion love is confusing because it is diverse in its many ways , so diverse that that it can have a positive meaning behind it or a negative meaning behind it. Love's intangibleness makes it confusing because it is so hard to grasp that you cant even define it by one word.
