Love & Commitment
There are many types of women in the world, the party animal, the school girl, and the full time worker. Men should become aware of the characteristics in each and every women that can lead them to finding a woman that wants to commit. The smallest of details, from where and how they met, the way she walks and talks, the clothes she wears, the career choice she 's made, or the car she drives can offer valuable, meaningful clues to whether or not a woman will ever settle down with anyone. There are two main types of women in the world, the committer and the non-committer.
The committer is serious about finding the right man. She will consider the opinion of others such as her close friends and family. She will most likely be open to going on a blind date set by her friends and avoid meeting people at bars or through networking. She would rather go to places where the two can talk one-on-one instead of a loud crowded place. The committer likes to have long and interesting conversation that will give her an idea of his prospective on life. She will also ask questions and actually be interested in his answers. Eventually, she will open up about her past and is willing to share more personal details as time goes on. Within time she will even be willing to meet his family and introduce hers to him. The committer will also want to introduce you to her friends. She will immediately bring you inside of her group and will want you to join them with activities they do. Most importantly she will communicate with him and enjoy making spending time together.
On the other hand, the non-committer is just interested in finding a man to spend time with and avoid being lonely. However, from the very beginning she is aware that there is no space for a serious relationship. She loves the bar scene and most of the time ends up dating someone she met at the bar. On a date, she will get straight to the point and try to avoid any conversation so she can leave as soon as dinner is

Erikson believes that a person is unable to be truly intimate with others until he or she has made progress with addressing their own identity. Marcia’s, the researcher for identity status, developed a similar idea with addressing their own identity. Macias also developed an idea designed to determine the quality of intimacy in a person 's life. A person answered several questions about dating, friendship, and interpersonal he or she commitments may be classified into four categories; Intimate-works at developing mutual personal relationships, has several close friends, involved in a committed love relationship, and is able to express both affectionate and angry feelings in the relationship. “Feast on your life.” Every time I hear that phrase it sends goose bumps all over my body and chills down my spine. “Love After Love” by Derek Walcott sends strong messages through his multi-cultural upbringing. Walcott was raised in Castries, St. Lucia, an ex-British colony, that reflects a lot through his Caribbean culture in his poems. Mr. Housden believes this poem is about “alienation and belonging” and “homecoming and exile” and I disagree with that and also his opinion on the “stranger.” I believe what Walcott’s true intent of this poem was how through his life he has had to counter-balance both cultures in his life to try to meet at one point to both express his…

Richard begins his poem with addressing lovers who are dead and whom death gathered them one more time, or, as it were, wedded them again, and this is a metaphor, in which, he resembles dying together to get married again. The grave that the lovers are in is the second marriage-bed, this is also a metaphor. The lovers will fade away, for separating soul and body is the fate's job which is : obligatory; however, desting can not sever husband and wife because they live once.…

First of all I’m going to talk about what I think commitment is. The word commitment can be described in different ways. Commitment can be a promise or an oath. Commitment can also be an engagement or involvement. Many people think that the word commitment refers to a relationship or goal. These are correct but commitment means so much more. I feel that commitment is a choice to be constant with a certain goal. I get my commitment with a support system to keep me striving for the best and accomplishing my goals. Without the support I think it would be quite hard for me to be fully committed. In order for me to stay and get committed is to work really hard at what I do and have the people that are close to be support what I’m doing and not let me fall and hit the ground. Having a support system is really important and takes you far in life.…

Men can be categorized by the way they treat women while dating into three groups: a social addict, a content lover, or a keeper. For your birthday this type of dater will give you a gift such as a necklace, so that everybody can notice it. When it comes down to emotions and feelings, a social addict will say whatever he assume you want to hear at any given moment. The second type of dater, a content lover, is a guy who will come and go as he pleases. These men just seem to be in attendance but not involved. When people asks me to define myself, I simply tell them, I am created by God’s image and likeness therefore I am a loving person to any of those people who I’ve known and who I didn’t know. When a person or group of people will judge you based on your personality, physical appearance, and many more, they don’t have the right to judge you because we are all created unique from each other. No one can define you even your friends, family, girlfriends and boyfriends. Only you yourself can define who you truly are. We are all humans or tao, who can feel, think and act. There is a deepest part of our pagkatao, it’s our loob. Where our true identity can be found and lies. To know ourselves is very important because to know ourselves helps us to value our identity and our giftedness. Now, on the other hand, several changes in the society about the importance of women and new ideas about gender equality have made the roles of men and women more diverse. Women are more empowered with the choice to court men, and some men even have their preference for women who make the first move. The expectation of women being the meek ones who had to wait around to be courted isn’t as strictly followed in the society anymore.…
