I picked the green light because it represents love and love is a beautiful thing. The light shines at the end of Daisy's dock for a reason. I feel like the green light represents the love Gatsby has for Daisy. A light almost never goes out, his love for Daisy obviously has not disappeared or fainted over that long course of time.
