Lord Of The Rings: The Fellowship Of The Ring
In the film The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring, the director Peter Jackson portrays the continual war fought by good and evil, he also shows the tremendous effect that burden has on an individual. Jackson shows this throughout the movie with the character Frodo Baggins, Frodo is the prime example of what can happen when a burden to great to bare is placed upon an individual. This was most evident when, Frodo chooses to take the ring to Mount Doom, also how Frodo takes on the responsibility of safety and the fellowship to Middle Earth, and finally he than realizes the true danger he has brought upon himself.

For example Jackson shows Frodo become infuriated with Aragorn after Boromir tries to take the ring from Frodo in the woods, also when Frodo sees Smeagol and says to gandalf “Bilbo should have killed him when he had the chance”, this shows the happy go lucky hobbit being slowly drained from Frodo. This is shown when Frodo speaks to Aragorn in the woods and tells him that he is leaving the fellowship, the way Jackson shows burden is by making Frodo leave the fellowship it shows that Frodo knows how dangerous the road ahead will be. Jackson shows Frodo’s true fear of the quest when he is stabbed by the Morgul blade and starts to change into a Nazgul, Frodo is evidently afraid to change into a Nazgul because once he does he will simply walk into Mordor and hand Sauron the ring.
