The lost king from Tolkien's Lord of The Rings series, having passed the first threshold, takes on his labyrinth and rescue, ultimately accomplishing his heroic deeds. Although Aragorn follows his own path to kleos he travels not alone but, like all heroes, with friends otherwise known as his hero partners.
