In the midst of a raging war, a plane evacuating a group of schoolboys from Britain is shot down over a deserted tropical island. Two of the boys, Ralph and Piggy, discover a conch shell on the beach, and Piggy realizes it could be used as a horn to summon the other boys.no adults survived the crash just school boys between the ages of six and twelve. Eventually a whole choir came out of the jungle led by a boy name Jack (one of the older boys stranded on the island). The boys all decided to pick a chief it was between Ralph and Jack and they all picked Ralph. Jack wasn’t really happy for being voted down. Ralph made Jack in charge of the choir the will be the hunters. Later on Ralph to Jack and a boy name Simon (A shy, sensitive boy in the group) went to the top of the mountain where they discovered that they are on an island and that their pigs on the island that they can hunt. Ralph called an assembly to let everyone know that their on an island and that their alone but it’s a good island with food and water. Ralph says that they need to light a small fire on the mountain so incase a ship passes they’ll be rescued. Before he can organize anything the boy’s rush of the top and used piggy’s spectacles and made a huge bond fire. The fire gets out of control and burns a big patch of jungle. Jack spends his time hunting for pigs while the other hunters drift off and went to play. Ralph spends his time building shelter where everyone except Simon drift off and went to play also. Leaving Ralph to struggle with the last shelter. Jack and Ralph gets into an argument because both of them are trying to do something important, both are frustrated aren’t getting enough help. A boy name Roger follows a little one name hennery down to the beach and starts throwing rocks at him he is making sure not to hit hennery, but it’s clear that the idea to hurt or kill Hennery is exciting to Roger.
