Summary Lord of the flies chapter 6.
The boys all fall asleep and don’t realise the military planes fighting over head.
Sam and Eric who a suppose to keep the fire lit falls asleep; the fire goes out.
A dead parachutist lands on the island. His parachute gets caught in the trees and the dead man eerily bows and lifts as the wind blows and pulls the strings of his chute.
When Sam and Eric wake up to relight the fire. In the faint light of the fire, they see the dead parachutist, mistaking it for the beast they flee back to the camp in a haze.
They tell Ralph what they had seen and a meeting is called
