It has been more than three years that I know this applicant. When I joined Kepler in 2014, this applicant was a student in the first year. During that academic year, I taught her communications and other skills that helped her to work well on her projects. Through her works and class participation, I could see that she was a hard work. She always met deadlines and make sure her works were of high quality. Another thing is that she was always looking for support whenever needed. In fact, whenever she found out that she missed something in class, she could attend office hours for clarification. In 2015, when she was hired as a course facilitator, she was very committed, determined and responsible. In fact, when she had to work on any task, she made sure to complete it on time and with efficiency. Till now, her actions show that she is collaborative. She really believes in team work. In fact, she knows that for a team to be…
Finally, her level of professionalism is magnificent. I find it extra impressive because she has a lot of academic problems to discuss and yet she is very careful not to cross that line. She says out loud what she is aloud to say, and keeps to herself of keeps to private conversation with the student what needs to be kept to a private conversation. That is where her leadership and collaboration come into play as well.…
Her esteemed form of intellectual is much high and stable, she understands everything almost at the same moment and she is never the shy or pretense type. Thus, she can still cope with the environmental pressure and also work pressure at least for the next couple of…
The case method is student-centered rather than instructor-centered. In the classroom, the students will drive a rigorous discussion of each case by identifying the problems and issues faced by the managers and formulating alternatives for solution backed by case facts and assumptions. In addition to preparing for cases, there are substantial reading assignments, especially in the early part of the course.…
Most of students were impressive for her. They were engaged in their duty really hard, and tried to take responsibility for their choices. She wants to help such students, because a degree and experiences help students when they have to decide their job.…

“Real world” cases place the student in a simulated organizational climate as a manager, leader, or nonmanager who must make decisions. A case is: ...a story of organizational issues which actually have been faced by people, together with facts, opinions, and prejudices upon which decisions must be made. A key feature of a case is that the decisions which require action must be made. With the case method, the process of arriving at an answer is more important than the answer itself. It is anticipated that by working through cases the student will develop an understanding of the process of reaching decisions and be able to convincingly support and communicate these decisions to others. Instead of sitting back and reacting to the comments made by an instructor, a student in analyzing cases is asked to make decisions typically with incomplete information and in a limited time period, which is usually the situation faced by most managers. There are no ideal solutions to any of the cases. Searching for the perfect answer will be futile. Instead, the student should learn to critically and thoroughly think through the issues, problems, facts, and other information presented in the cases. Critical thinking is required to make better decisions. Thorough thinking is needed so that decisions reached can be communicated and intelligently discussed in classroom discussions. Discussions about the cases should clearly illustrate the thinking processes used by a student. The preparation for discussion of the cases can follow a set pattern. One suggested pattern would be to: 1. 2. Read the case rather quickly to get a feel for what is involved. Reread the case and sort out the assumptions, hunches, and facts. Since all cases are rather incomplete, the student will need to make plausible assumptions about the situation. List them and be able to support the…
Hereafter, you will find synopsis and write-up questions/assignments on each scheduled case in view of helping you to prepare class discussion. Even if cases are scheduled for specific themes, most of them address issues related to many themes. Those who present will try to integrate theories and frameworks already seen in previous themes to new cases and should consider questions suggested as start points of discussion and feel free to discuss the case on more issues than those covered by these questions. However, for the individual write-up, your discussion should be limited to the question on the case.…
Students may be asked to advance a solution for the case or simply identify some aspects of the…
Everyone has both strengths, and weaknesses, and an awareness of one’s strengths and weaknesses is part of effective leadership. One of her key strengths is that she is self-motivated and determined. She does not have any problem working with others, and sacrificing individual goals for the achievement of the objectives of the organization. She understands that leadership requires sacrifice, and this is why she has no problem sacrificing individual interests.…
Computer engineering, the fastest growing engineering field for the past few years, is a very broad discipline which addresses the relationship and interactions between software and hardware in solving real engineering problems. This includes such diverse areas as: biomedical devices, home automation, games and toys, environmental controls, automobile control systems and intelligent vehicle highway systems, industrial robotics, voice/speech recognition, computer intelligence, networking, and cellular communications.…
Assigned cases are first prepared by students, and this preparation forms the basis for class discussion under the direction of the Instructor. Students learn, often unconsciously, how to evaluate a problem, how to make decisions, and how to orally argue a point of view. Using this method, they also learn how to think in terms of the problems faced by an administrator. In courses that use the case method extensively, a significant part of the student's evaluation may rest with classroom participation in case discussions, with another substantial portion resting on written case analyses. For these reasons, using the case method tends to be very intensive for both students and Instructor.…
