I am very pleased to write this recommendation on behalf of xxx. She has been a student in the Programming C, C++, DBMS classes in CS program at xxx College of engineering. As Head and professor of Computer Science Department at xxx College, I work with many students who have substantial knowledge of Computer Science. Each year I notice that only a few outstanding students offer a unique perspective and really embrace their learning of the subject matter. xxx has consistently shown such a strong desire to learn that I simply could not turn down her request for recommendation. She is an exceptional student with excellent grades resulting from diligent work habits.With deep questioning mind, task orientation and pragmatic thinking, her motivation stood out amongst her peer students. During discussion of case studies, she was highly effectual in applying the course material in analyzing the problem situations. She explained her views very concisely and gave analytical arguments that were both clear and persuasive. She evinced oral articulateness in the discussion sections of case studies that were an integral part of the Computer Science course. Students were required to analyze problematic situations, and to develop and argue their own views with regard to the issue in question. She displayed good leadership skills when involved in group projects. During several team case studies, she took charge of the team. She was aware of strengths and limitations of her team members and assigned task accordingly. She is very well liked and respected by both peers and her professors. xxx continues to impress me with her knowledge, skill and dedication to her work.
