Part 1 Introduction
As the United Kingdom’s diversity continues to grow, so too do the sometimes distorted identities of Looked after Children. It is also a common conception that Looked after Children are low achievers in education. It is with this in mind that this research proposal will aim to consider the possible links between culture and ethnicity in regards to educational achievement of Looked after Children and how this can be explored or evidenced through academic research.
