Element 1. Establish personal work goals
Element 2. Set and meet own priorities

In an effort to set more personal goals in life we need to have a personal goal planning session of our own.Personal goal setting is very personal and one must look inward to understand what it is,they truly want to accomplish.Setting personal goals require discipline, time and a desire to make personal change..Achieving personal goals can be simple as making a promise and keeping that promise. To achieve our goals many people will create what is called a personal goal statement. This will help the individual to understand exactly what the goal is about.

It seems easy enough. You follow a small set of principles, write down what you want and off you go.Dreams accomplished. But that’s not reality is it?People set personal goals and for one reason or another, stumble, stagger or outright fail on their butt.Over and over I have watched well-meaning people fail at their personal gails.Still today there are honest, motivated people failing at their personal goals.

There are three things that I know about you for certain:- * You have awesome things you want to accomplish. * Your personal goals are near and dear to you. * They are things you want to accomplish more thann anything in the world.

In life, to successfully move forward I need to establish goals. “The tragedy in life is not reaching your goal, but having no goal to reach” (Leadership for Student Activities, 2005). I must have a plan of how I will achieve my goals and be able to identify when an important element of that goal is reached. Possible setbacks must be considered and purposeful schemes arranged for when the unexpected shows up. According to Deci and Ryan (1984), “Goals, whether trivial, routine, significant or life altering, are part of peoples everyday lives”.…

Goals tell you where you are going and how you are going to get there. Ideally, goals have to be realistic, measurable and within a person’s skills and abilities. For example, if a Person A wants to lose twenty kilograms in one month of exercising as compared to Person B in five months of exercising, the outcome of losing weight will be much more successful if Person B managed to lose at least four kilograms in the first month as compared to Person A which sets an unrealistic goal of losing at least ten kilograms within the first two weeks. There are several steps to achieving a goal. You can actually simplify the process of goal setting. Firstly, is to discover exactly what your goal is and also think about what the desired result is. Then you have to work towards it passionately and visualize yourself achieving the goal. Also, one needs to create a master plan for the path that is needed to follow to accomplish the goal as well as reviewing the overall progress regularly is also important. I became aware of the process I needed to work on in order to achieve my set goals. I started to write down all tasks I needed to complete and the dates of completion. I set time apart to evaluate my works and prepare to setup a procedure on how to fulfill these…
