Chandresh Kumari Katoch, the Minister of Culture, on 2 April 2013 inaugurated the Tagore Centre for Global Thought at India Institute of King’s College, London.
India and Singapore on 2 April 2013 signed an enhanced air services agreement to build on the existing 216 weekly flights and meet the growing demand for air connectivity. Oscar Winning Screenplay Writer, Ruth Prawer Jhabvala died in New
York on 3 April 2013. She was the winner of two Academy Awards.
Justice Ajay Manikrao Khanwilkar appointed Chief Justice for High Court of
Himachal Pradesh.
Supreme Court of India issued notice to the Principal Health Secretaries of States and Union Territories on compliance of rules banning gutka sale and manufacture.
Historian Bratindra Nath Mukherjee died at his residence in Kolkata on 4 April
2013. He was a Padma Shree Awardee, a renowned epigraphist and
