Literary Critique: Moodle, Smartthinking, And Powerpoint
The main sources of technology that everyone taking this class has used are: Moodle, SmartThinking, and Google Docs and PowerPoint. I used Moodle everyday to check to see if I had any e-mails from Mr. Stout or if he had any other announcements for us. SmartThinking was an excellent way for me to receive feedback on my essays, and it was also a great source of extra credit. I used Google Docs to write the literary critique, ten page argumentative essay, and to write all the outlines and references I need for the essays. Google PowerPoint I used only once and that was for my presentation on the career I want to go into.

Many of my experiences with technology in the classroom are the use of PowerPoints. This is a tool used often within college classrooms, also a tool I have used on several occasions when giving presentations to a class. I find the use of PowerPoint very helpful when giving a group of people large amounts of information. Having the notes on a screen while the presenter is speaking allows me to take in the information through more than one sense, it also gives the audience a visual of what is important to the presenter which makes understanding and preparing for possible testing easier. During the use of a PowerPoint I am able to really focus on what is going on because I am hearing the information, seeing…
