Biography of Jeffrey Dahmer
Jeffrey Dahmer Case Dahmer was born Jeffrey Lionel Dahmer on May 21, 1960 to a family in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. At age eight, his family moved to Bath, Ohio. He was always very shy and suffered from low self-esteem. Jeffrey Dahmer was one of America’s most well-known serial killers, murdering and dismembering 17 young men and boys. In some cases Dahmer ate parts of their bodies. In 1994, Dahmer committed his first murder in Bath, Ohio, in 1978. A second murder followed in 1987, and during the next five years he killed another 15 boys and young men, who were for the most part poor and African American, Asian, or Latino. Although other serial murderers had claimed far more victims, Dahmer’s crimes were particularly horrifying, involving cannibalism and necrophilia. Jeffrey Dahmer was indicted on 17 murder charges (later reduced to 15) and after two weeks of trial, the court found Dahmer sane and guilty on all 15 counts. Jeffrey Dahmer was sentenced to 15 life terms or 957 years in prison. Dahmer was murdered by another prisoner in a Wisconsin prison in 1994. Dahmer was sent to Ohio where he ultimately declared himself a born-again Christian. Dahmer was attacked by other prisoners for the nature of his savage crimes. On November 28, 1994, while partaking in janitorial work, Dahmer and another inmate were severely beaten with a broom handle by fellow inmate Christoper Scarver. Dahmer died of severe head trauma while on his way to the emergency room

Another article I would like to discuss is from People magazine written by Jeff Truesdell, Neighbors of Making a Murderer's Steven Avery Speak Out About His Guilt or Innocence: 'Those of Us Who Live Here Know He's Guilty.’ In this article, Jeff Truesdell interviewed locals of Manitowoc County; Steven Avery’s neighbors. The neighbors paint an incredibly different picture than what is provided in Making a Murderer. The neighbors discuss how much safer they felt now that Steven Avery was back in jail, and how when he was released the first time they believed something strange happened. The general consensus of his neighbors was that he was guilty for the assault he was in jail for originally, and for the crimes he is in jail for now. One neighbor…

From then all the way until his last arrest in 1991 his life was filled with secret killings and homosexual relationships which led to multiple killing. The one that stands out most of all is his final killing of a fourteen year old boy named Konerak. This one is the most insane of all because it could have been prevented if it were not for the drugs that Mr. Dahmer slipped his victim. He would have been caught immediately, had the symptoms of the chemical Dahmer gave his victim been more apparent to the common observer. The drugs used made his victim seem more intoxicated then under the influence of a narcotic. As Konerak attempted to run, police came across him naked making little sense when talking, so it was believed the boy was merely intoxicated. Upon Dahmer´s request they returned him to his care, claiming the boy was his nineteen year old homosexual lover. Later the police would find out the mistake they had made.…
