Life In Ayn Rand's Call Of The Wild
title

When growing up, life never gets any more simple. In Call Of The Wild, Buck is taken from his normal life and has to get stronger to survive all of the forces of nature. In contrast to Buck, my mother had problems standing, and couldn’t walk around at work. Like Buck, my mother had to heal and recover from her hard work. In all, my mother and Buck had to persevere when things got tough. Even though it seems like they have nothing alike, they still have some things in common.

Throughout Call of the Wild, Buck is stolen from the farm. He is forced to persevere with many painful experiences. Early in the book, Buck was stolen by Manuel and was forced into the savage nature. He had an amazing life before he was taken. Throughout Buck’s journey he learned the law of the club and fang. Buck would constantly be hit and bashed with clubs or sticks. He eventually got so beat up that he could barely walk. It took him along time to heal from this tragedy. This taught him that life would be harder than on the farm, and it would never get any

My mom was at work one day and felt suddenly dizzy. The room felt like it was spinning in circles. She could not walk very well and fell down over and over again. After a while she threw up and had to get help. The very next day she had to go to rehab, so she could retrain her body to walk. She had to do this for six months until she was better. This caused her lots of stress and made her everyday life harder. She was on lots of medication to help relieve stress and pain. The problem was still occurring but less damaging.
