Life Coach Kay Hazen College Composition I 04-03-2012

I was so happy to hear from you, and the fact that you are reaching out for help with your problems is amazing. It means that your relationship with your wife and kids is important to you and that you are ready to try to change. I know that you have suffered with addictions, and that you suffered as a child when your parents were both addicts also. To answer your question, yes, I am a life coach and I can help. On the website of the company I work for it says, “Our skills are about knowing the right questions to ask and having the right tools and techniques to empower you to find those answers within yourself” (Leo, 2012, Para.4). I will listen to what your complaints are, ask questions so that I can attain more detail and offer you the tools that you need to make your life more satisfying. This will be a strictly confidential relationship and you can always choose which tools you want to use and which ones you prefer not to. It is up to you, I am just here to help you along the way. I think that if you look at it like I am your mentor; most people have a mentor when they are growing up and learning life lessons, and you did not, so it is normal for you to have trouble coping with life. Your parents did not teach you the skills you need, because they were dealing with their own addictions. Now that they are both sober and learning how to cope with their own lives, I know that they are truly sorry for the neglect that you suffered. If you would like you can go to the website listed at the end of this letter and click on the link that is called “Take the life coaching quiz” to see if you are ready for a life coach. Try to think of your life as a journey, a call to adventure, and you are the hero of this adventure. As your life coach I believe that I can help you feel like a true hero and live a happy and fulfilling life. “Life

My personal view of helping someone is based upon my own past experiences for both myself and my observation of others. Person-centered therapy may not work as well with people who find it complicated to discuss issues about themselves or have a mental illness that misrepresents their perceptions of reality. However, I believe that Person Centered Counseling is an approach which emphasizes the clients responsibility to take control of their own experience. In this approach the client is given the tools and encouragement to make their own decisions and realize their own potential for growth. Person Centered Theories were developed by Carl Rogers. Throughout his years of experience working with clients it was Rogers goal to assist people feel influential and be in command of of their own lives.…

There are three areas: the role of preconception health and well-being on birth outcomes, the long-term effects of adverse childhood experiences, and the fetal origins of adult disease. Healthcare does not start from birth, its begins from the moment your mother finds out that she is pregnant with you. Prenatal care is very important and not receiving it can have long lasting effects on the child. The long-term effects of adverse childhood are exploring why an adult might have the health problems that they have by looking back on their childhood to see if any signs led to this outcome.…
