life can be sweet

Good Essays
Life can be sweet, but it can also be bitter. you may think that things will come easily, but truth be told...they don't. you sometimes have to work very hard to achieve the goals you want in life, but always remember to stay strong and don't let anyone tell you that you are not good enough. When you open a box of assorted chocolates, what do you see? Some people look, and they know that there are some chocolates mixed in there that are absolutely horrid, and they do their best to escape them. Others see the candies and know that one of them won’t be as nice as the others, but they eat them all anyways. However, a few people gaze into the box and see an opportunity for surprise with each morsel. In the movie Forrest Gump, the concept of destiny is viewed by the characters in various different ways. Lieutenant Dan believes in predetermined destiny, Jenny spends her entire life trying to take control of her destiny, and Forrest simply takes life one step at a time, believing that destiny is about the journey. Although each character is faced with poor circumstances, Forrest’s view about destiny leads him through the best life compared to the others.
Life Is Like A Box Of Chocolates. You Never Know What You Are Going To Get

Positive inspirational quotes help us to stay strong in our life and provide guidance for a better life. Hence, it helps us to think in positive way which will make our life much happier and healthier because we will be able to think realistically.

Forrest Gump is definitely my favourite movie and my favourite quote is from that movie as well. “Life is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you are going to get” was what Forrest Gump’s mother always said to him. Life is like a box of chocolate and there is truth to it, you never know what you are going to get until you have had the same chocolates a few times and you learn what they look like.

Each box of chocolates is different and there is no way of knowing what is in each

Life is Sweet at Kumansenu By Abioseh Nicol Notes about what I am reading 1 I knew enough about hell to stop me from stealing. I was holy in almost every bone. Some days I recognized the shadows of angels flopping on the backyard grass, and other days I heard faraway messages in the plumbing that howled underneath the house when I crawled there to look for something to do. The sea and the wet sand to one side of it; green tropical forest on the other; above it, the slow, tumbling clouds. The…

Birthdays come and go, however, Sweet sixteen seems to have a more significant meaning then just another year older. It is the age where one truly becomes mature. This theory was never actually proven. I myself never believed it to be true. Up until now, I finally realize how my sweet sixteenth birthday was not just the most memorable, but also the most significant. Waking up to the sound of my alarm clock, it is 9am on a Saturday. Ring! Ring! Ring! The phone begins to irritate. Still half asleep…

Sweet Memories It was raining outside, shattering relentlessly on my window panes. I snuggled into my thick, warm sheets, pulling them tightly around me. I rather enjoyed rainy nights, the rain seemed to drown out my thoughts, leaving a peaceful calm feeling, no pressure of time nor space. A loud rumbling growl of thunder bellowed, making me jump. Unconsciously, my fingers reached out for my blanky, my faithful companion for the past few years, my source of comfort throughout stormy…

Sweet Escape Rebirth, healing, awakening- These are the words that mirror a flower that blooms in mud. In order for its petals to greet the warmth of the sun, a lotus flower must begin its life buried beneath mud and filth. Fragile and little it uses its own strength to press on through the sludge so that it can live within the water. With time and patience, it’ll soon reach the surface feeling the sun shine on it. As its buds begin to grow, the flower will then finally burst into full bloom. Same…

“Sweet, Sour, and Resentful” In this story, Dumas tells Gourmet magazine how her mother prepares a Persian feast weekly for a great number of people. She tells how her mother is bitter about cooking every week for so many people and in a small place. Dumas stated, “Displaying the hospitality that Iranians so cherish, my father…
