Life
In the beginning of the year when joining this class I thought it would just a class on designing things. I learned and understand as the course goes on that this class helps me to interact with other classmates. Creating more confidents in me, improving my writing skills, and my social skills is what I am also learning from this class. The bridge project I liked the most because it had me realized how important a group project is and how one person makes a difference in a group. Writing about my personal goals and reflective essay, made me see how much I have improved in my writing and learning. Most of all this class helped me learn more about the Ethics, Diversity, Critical, and Communication that we will need in life.

The Ethical and Social Responsibility I learned in this class was how one person in a group or in life impacts the society. I learned that in group projects that each person is accountable for something in a group and if one person messes up than the whole group gets the consequence of the result. Also, when doing group projects I felt more relaxed knowing that each person in my group knows what they were accountable for and would not let the group down on there job. In life when I get a job, I will be accountable to the company on what decisions I make.

The Diversity or Variety of Human Experience I learned is how having the experience in life to build a design that will better the world. I learned that you cant build a good design without having the experience or process of what it takes to make a design. I learned that race, class, gender, etc is an impact on a design because when making the design it has to be useful mostly everyone ability. I also learned that a design affects the certain people in life but not everyone but is still useful for someone.

My critical thinking has become a lot better with having the experience with this class. When receiving certain assignments in the first term I wasnt really becoming a

I think that these events foreshadowed Okonkwo’s and the Ibo tribe’s demise because every single one of the events affected Okonkwo negatively and led to some of change in his life. It starts with Okonkwo’s father being a bum in the tribe and neglecting his responsibility to his family. His death was also degrading because his body was thrown in the forbidden forest and Okonkwo always worked towards not becoming someone like him. However, at the end Okonkwo’s “burial” is the same and he becomes the failure he tried to avoid. He considered himself a failure because he was unable to rid the tribe of the colonists because he could see that the culture was diminishing but he failed to bring the tribe to fight after his exile. He was exiled because he killed a boy at the wedding which he was invited to after he killed Ikemefuna so that he could clear his mind with a distraction. Overall, every event led to something which foreshadowed Okonkwo’s demise as well as the tribe’s.…

By using this I have discovered what my goals and dreams are. I wanted to pass this class and go on to college but that's not going to happen if I fail english. I realized that all that busy work she was giving us wasn't actually busy work. She showing us how hard it can be in college and most of the material now that I come to think of it helped me with everything I did in that class whether it was vocab or learning to write a better thesis statement. My goal for that class was to pass with an 80 or high by the end of each marking period and to not slack on all my work and to do it well and on time. Now I actually do my work ahead of time so that I don't forget and I have time to go back and look over it and sometimes I have a little free time to myself. My current grade in my CCC English 102 is an 89 and so far i've been doing things days before they are actually do so I make sure it's…

This class was a very eye opening experience for me. I have taken previous business ethics classes, but nothing compared to the experience of Business Ethics in Action. Through all of the assignments, videos, and especially the discussions I saw so many different points of view that I myself had never even considered. Having a fairly diverse class helped foster these different views and are what made my learning experience throughout the semester such an enjoyable and rewarding one. After completing the course I can say that I no longer look at things the same way and I try to look at what how certain actions might have a longer reach with their effects than many people can see. I learned this fact from the various case studies that we worked through and it showed me how there is never simply one or two groups that are being effected but numerous parties that are unseen as well.…

I am glad that I took this composition course. Before I took this class, I would say that I was just an average writer. I took this class in hopes that I would learn more about writing and learn new skills that I can apply to my writing process. I have only been in this class for one quarter, but I would say that I am a much better writer than I was before I took this class. I have learned new skills that expand my writing above the level it was. I have also learned more about myself as a writer and what is working and what is not working with my writing process.…

When a company is privatized efficiency can increase. When the government owns the factors of production there is little opportunity or incentive to design better products or pursue new technology. From the assignments and researches, I achieved a great deal of understanding about critical thinking, writing a correct sentence and most of all realizing the different thoughts from different people in the class. People have their own opinions in every worked paper we have done which helps me to realize that people have different believes concerning different issues. I respect every once opinions and am happy that I took them as a good knowledge gained. I just wish I would have taken a class like this sooner! The research and actual writing process just seems so much easier once you break it down.…

Looking back on the course, I feel some sort of foundation experience or exposure at some point in my educator or career so far and that give me a feeling that I'm doing something right. That feeling of defeat, which we can often feel in public education, can be a heavy burden. Then for me, leaving a feeling that I don't know what I'm doing. As we moved through the chapters of the book, I had many moments thinking to myself "Hey, I heard of that before" or "I'm doing that." This was reassuring that I do know what I'm doing and a feeling of defeat is only temporary. I think that the class strengthened my co-teaching and skills related to applied behavior analysis. Because I co-teach all period of the school day, I was especially intrigued by…

One factor that greatly affected the NBA in the 1980s was the players. In 1979 Magic Johnson and the Michigan State Spartans faced off against Larry Bird and Indiana State. This was the beginning of a huge rivalry in the 1980s. Towards the end of the 1970s and in the beginning of the 1980s the Philadelphia 76ers were a very good team in the NBA. With the help of Moses Malone and Julius Erving the 76ers made it to the NBA Finals in 1977, 1980, 1982 but lost. Finally they won the NBA Championship in 1983 and Moses Malone was Finals MVP. In the 1984 NBA Draft there were a number of players that were drafted that were later to become stars. Hakeem “The Dream” Olajuwon was selected as first pick. He would later play with the Houston Rockets and win two championships with them (1994, 1995). Michael Jordan was selected as third pick. He later became arguably the best player in NBA history. He led the Chicago Bulls to six championships in the 1990’s, (1991, 1992, 1993, 1996, 1997, 1998), and together with the Chicago Bulls they had a 72-10 season in the 1995-1996 season. Charles Barkley was selected as 4th pick. He was a great overall player in the 1980s and the 1990s. At 16th pick John Stockton was selected. He is to this day the all-time leader in assists and steals. Although the players that were drafted in the 1984 NBA made a big spark in NBA history the rivalry between the Lakers and the Celtics made and even bigger spark on NBA history. The 1979 NCAA finals marked the start of a big rivalry in the 1980s. The Lakers had Magic Johnson and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, while the Celtics had Larry Bird, Robert Parish, and Kevin McHale. The Celtics beat the Lakers in 1984 and the Lakers beat the Celtics in 1985, 1987. Although the Lakers were a good team in the mid 80s the Detroit Pistons were a very good at the end of the 1980s. With the help of Isaiah Thomas and Joe Dumars the Pistons won the NBA championship in 1989 and 1990.…

In addition to having a job, there is the benefit of having money in your pocket. Having some source of income means that you are financially independent for the most part. Most kids ask their parents for money and that can be burdensome, and then once that age comes around to start working parents will encourage their child to do so, and they will warn them about not getting behind I school if they do get the job. Despite the long work shifts, people look forward to the lump sum of…
