LGBT is collectively refers to the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community. Lesbian, in the most simplified form, is the homosexuality of women. A female person is called a lesbian when she expresses her sexual and romantic desires toward another female. Gay is to describe the homosexuality of men. A gay man is one who is romantically, sexuality and or emotionally attracted to men. Bisexuality is the potential to be physically, emotionally and or sexually attracted to both men and woman. The term is especially used in the context of human sexual attraction to denote romantic or sexual feelings toward men and women. Many people engage in sexual activity with people of both genders, yet do not call themselves bisexual. Transgender is an umbrella term used to describe people whose gender identity (internal feeling of being male, female or transgender) and or gender expression, differs from that usually associated with their birth sex. Today many western countries have made same-sex marriages legal and LGBT is no more considered a taboo in modern societies, but only a slightly deviated way of thinking. However, for Islamic country like Malaysia, same-sex marriages are not legalized and homosexuality is punishable by law through caning and up to 20 years in prison. Such as recent issue, US President Barack Obama's open support for gay marriages in the United States has lead to the concern of other countries regard the issue about LGBT. However, Malaysia‘s Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak recently expressed disappointment toward US President Barack Obama’s stance on same sex marriages. It said that the stand of the government is clear when it disallowed a recent gathering by the LGBT group which was “insensitive to the religion and culture of the local society”. Many factors contribute to the development of homosexual attractions as reason of becoming LGBT. Some of us may think that being gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgender are causes by genetic problem. Especially many gays and lesbians believe that their orientation is caused by their genes; they believe that their orientation is normal, natural, un-chosen and unchangeable. Essentially all conservative Christian, Muslim and other authors who have written about homosexuality maintain that sexual orientation is not determined by one's genes. Most treat it as an abnormal, unnatural, chosen, and changeable habit or addiction. Religious conservatives often point to studies of identical twins that were separated at birth and raised independently. If one is gay, then the other twin is found to be gay only about 55% of the time. They reason that: since identical twins have the same genetic structure, then if homosexual orientation were determined by genes, 100% of the other twins would be gay. Thus they conclude that homosexual orientation is not mainly by genetic caused. LGBT can be caused by both psychology and physical reasons. According to current scientific and professional understanding, the core attractions that form the basis for adult sexual orientation typically emerge between middle childhood and early adolescence. These patterns of emotional, romantic, and sexual attraction may arise without any prior sexual experience. People can be celibate and still know their sexual orientation-–be it lesbian, gay, bisexual, or heterosexual. Psychologists have proven that past history will affect a person life in the future. For example, if a woman has a bad history about men, due to a failure or tragedy in past relationship, it can cost a person to lose interest of their attraction towards the opposite sex. At the same time, that woman needs love affection therefore they fall in love with someone from the same gender because of the hatred to boys. The physical reasons include sexual disabilities of different kinds. Or in some rare case, such as in Malaysia one case about ‘Khunsa’, it calls hermaphrodite in English and it means a person that has two...
