Lettuce Salmon Wraps
Lettuce Salmon Wraps
If you want a hearty, tasty treat to enjoy, you'll find that this will be one of the best meals for you! You can add a bit of tofu into the mix if you prefer, but raw fish is the ingredient that will be added in this recipe. You'll have to make sure that it's very fresh, as raw fish can be dangerous if not eaten immediately.
Ingredients:
For this dish, you will need:
1 carrot
1 mango
4 ounces of salmon
1 cup of raw almond butter
½ head of cabbage
2 lemons
¼ cup of Honey
2 tablespoons of fresh ginger
½ tablespoon of red chili
1 head of spinach
Cilantro
Basil
½ head of lettuce (large leaves only)
Salt
Preparation:
To begin, remove the lettuce leaves from the head, and pluck the largest spinach leaves from the bunch. Place them in a bowl of chilled water to soak.

Cut the mango flesh from the seed, and slice it into thin strips as well. Cut the salmon into long thin strips, which will be added into the wraps along with the veggies.
In a blender, combine the honey, chili, ginger, soy cause, and almond butter, mix- ing until they are smooth and properly combined. Squeeze the two lemons into the blender, and keep it mixing. Add a bit of water to thin out the paste if it's too thick.
Dice the cabbage very finely, until it's in pieces small enough to mix with the al- mond butter paste. Combine the ingredients in a bowl.
Remove the leaves of spinach and lettuce, and place the spinach leaves on top of the lettuce leaves. Place a strip of salmon, a strip of carrot, and a strip of mango onto the leaves. Scoop a bit of the almond and cabbage mixture on top of the leaves, and garnish with a bit of salt, some fresh cilantro, and a bit of basil
