Letter To Godwin's Grading Policies
Hello parent(s) of Godwin,
I am aware that Godwin has began to explain the flaws to the NHPS grading policies and I deeply apologize that it has caused some conflict within the home. At ESUMS, and at the majority of New Haven Public Schools, we set deadlines for teachers to enter grades into Powerschool and once that deadline has past, all grades that were not submitted will automatically be Zeros. However, Teachers are able to go back later and correct grades within the first 30 days that the grading period has closed. I can assure you, Godwin has maintained a high level of grades through the first semester of Senior year.
