Letter of Interest
I am writing this letter in regards to a Duty Manager position that’s become available.
This position has been of great interest to me for quite some time now, I believe I have the necessary leadership skills and attention to details to make a valuable contribution to your venue. I held the Duty Manager position at different venues in the past.
Having worked in the hospitality industry for the last five years, I have developed a passion for providing top-quality customer service and I believe my presence contributes to a memorable experience for my customers. I always endeavoured to pass on these values whenever I’m leading or training a group of people within the work place. As a supervisor at The Highway I have worked closely with management and learnt a great deal from other Duty Managers. During the positions I held at Rocket Bar and Salt I learnt everything from ordering stock, counting tills, implementing company policy and basically what it takes to run the business successfully. I would love to have the opportunity to apply my knowledge and all the skills I’ve gained throughout the years to a career in Duty Management. I also hope to bring a fresh new angle to your venue and learn as much as possible as I wish to open and run my own cocktail bar or restaurant in the near future.
I believe that if I am successful and do in fact get this position it will make things a little easier for you. I know how the Lounge Bar, Bistro and Functions are run and work – I also know the basics for Sports and Gaming but want to learn as much as possible. Apart from that, I also have experience in a BWS as I have worked there in the past.
I am confident that I can make a substantial contribution to The Venue. I work well under pressure, am reliable and carry out tasks in a thorough, precise manner. I am a fast learner and meet challenges head-on finding ways to effectively complete multiple projects.
