When you are unable to express yourself in an articulate way, you hurt your future. When you get to around middle school, teachers start cracking down on grammar. If you were never taught proper grammar before that time, then you are in trouble. When you get into high school, proper grammar allows you to set yourself apart from those who don’t use articulate speech. According to Chron, “grammar makes an impression”. Past high school when you apply for a job, grammar will set you apart as a better candidate. Correctly applying syntax will make you more likely to succeed at a job.
