I. Objectives

1. Identify some of the working linkages between schools nationwide and associations/centers with local offices.
2. Identify the works/ goals of each working linkages.
3. Explain the benefit of having these linkages in our society.

II. Subject Matter
A. Topic: Linkages Between Schools Nationwide And Associations/Centers with Local Offices
B. Reference: Teaching Profession, pp. 97-99
C. Materials: manila paper, pentel pen

III. Lesson Proper

2. Motivation
Have you any associations/organizations lately?
What have you observed with this association?
How do they work?

b. Activity
Reporting
1. Group the class into five.
2. Assign each group the topics to be discussed.
3. Let them put their summarized topic in a manila paper.
4. Allow one student each group to present their topic.

c. Analysis

1. What are the different linkages discussed by each group?
2. What are their works/goals?
3. How can these associations improve the learning system?

A. Linkages

1. International Linkages

a. Pi Lambda Theta is an international honor society and professional association of women educators.
b. Innotech is the center for training educational leaders from Southeast region under the SEAMEO organization.
c. World Council for Curriculum and Instruction (WCCI) has a local chapter which recently hosted a 3-day international congress with the international President, officials and members from the main office together with the members from different countries in attendance.
d. Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development (ASCD) is a membership organization that develops programs, products, and services essential to the way educators learn, teach, and lead.

2. National and Local Linkages

Linkages could be established between universities and colleges offering identical degrees.

e. Application

On a one whole sheet of paper, each group should draw a graphic organizer that shows the works of the three international linkages. There should be one graphic organizer in each association.
