Lesson 1 TRADE EXHIBITION IN HONOR
Lesson 1: TRADE EXHIBITION IN HONOR OF ENTREPRENEURS 2009.
Information regarding the 2nd Trade Exhibition in Honor of Entrepreneurs – 2009 was imparted by the HCMC Business Association and the HCMC Investment and Trade Promotion Center. There are 500 pavilions of some 300 enterprises for their wide range of high quality products including textiles, footwear, food – foodstuff, rubber – plastic, wooden artwork, cosmetics, electronic – information technology…
There is also exhibition space for provinces, cities, Southern focal economic area to present, publicize their own potentialities, strengths with a view to appealing for investment, cooperation, joint - venture and exportation products. This event will run from 7 to 11 October at Phu Tho Stadium.
Lesson 2: MORE THAN VND 18,400 BILLION TO CONTRIBUTE THE URBAN RAILWAY.
The Ministry of Construction has recently made comments on the overall cost of the Hanoi’s urban railway line pilot project ( Nhon section – Ha Noi station) and stated that the total cost of 783 million euros ( approximately VND 18,408 billion dollars), caculated by Systra – a French Consulting Group – is a confirmity with the current regulations on ODA project. The Ministry of Construction has, therefore, recommended that the Prime Minister endore the proposal concerning the above aggregated cost summited by Hanoi’s People Committee.
The urban railway line is about 12.5 km in lenght with 4 undergrounds stations and 8 elavated ones including escalators and elevators. The investment capital is on loan from the ODA programs financed by the French Government (250 million euros), French Developing Departure (110 million dollars), Asian Developing Bank (220 million dollars), European Bank (130 millon dollars). The rest of cost is covered by the Hanoi State Budget.
