Self-concept is ”the subjective description of who you think you are” or “how you see yourself as a person”. Self- concept js more of a consistent description of yourself , for example, how you describe your personality to others.. Your self-image is a more narrowed description of yourself. It is how you perceive yourself in a “particular situation and is varied from one situation to another. Your self-image changes depending on the situation, for example you tend to be more outgoing and social when you're with family, but at school you tend to be timid and stay to yourself.

A situation when there is interference of the receiver is when your at a restaurant and your severing is extremely busy, so she pour drinks while you tell her your order. When you receive your food you realise she got your order wrong because she was concentrating more on the drinks instead of your order. Finally, inference in the channel could happen when you are listening to a portable radio at the beach and it turns off because
