1. What is the difference between your self-concept and self-image? What is the difference between your self-concept and your self-esteem? Self-concept is ”the subjective description of who you think you are” or “how you see yourself as a person”. Self- concept js more of a consistent description of yourself , for example, how you describe your personality to others.. Your self-image is a more narrowed description of yourself. It is how you perceive yourself in a “particular situation and is varied from one situation to another. Your self-image changes depending on the situation,for example you tend to be more outgoing and social when you're with family, but at school you tend to be timid and stay to yourself.
2. Think about experiences you have had with noise or interference in the communication process. Write one example of interference in the context, one example of interference in the sender, one example of interference in the receiver, and one example of interference in the channel. These examples can be from four different real-life communication situations, but they need to be different from the examples in the textbook. Select one of these examples and indicate how you could reduce or eliminate the noise or interference.
