This essay is going to be about the Cat and Rat: Legend of the Chinese Zodiac and the Cat and Mouse: Legend of the Chinese Zodiac. The theme of the story is the cat and rat are bitter enemies. The origin is the cat and rat/mouse are best friends. The hook means that the cat and rat always end up being enemies because of rat. The essay will show the differences and similarities of the cat and rat story and the cat and mouse story.

First this essay will explain how the two different stories compare with each other. Both stories have the same theme cat and the mouse/rat are enemies. The stories both end up with the cat trying to pounce on the rat/mouse. The rat/mouse and cat also end crossing a wide lake. This

    Of Mice and Men has a very evident foreshadowing event. When Candy’s dog is killed it foreshadows that Lennie will be killed as well. The main similarity between the two deaths is the fact that the deaths are looked upon as mercy killing. The two deaths are both similar and different in many different ways. Lennie’s death came as no surprise because of all of the problems that he had been causing at the ranch. The dog’s death was much less evident; the book described the dog as old, smelly, and unable to see. The dog was killed by Carlson, a total stranger to him.
