“The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.” (Edmund Burke) Some might ask, “What is bullying?” There are many degrees of bullying, but a good definition is, “to use superior strength or influence to intimidate (someone), typically to force him or her to do what one wants.” (Google) Years ago bullying generally occurred during school. As bad as this was, victims had hours after school of alone time to help them calm down and prepare for the next day. A few years ago people started abusing technology by starting something called cyberbullying. What is cyberbullying? Cyberbullying is the willful and repeated harm inflicted through the use of computers, cell phones, and other electronic devices. Cyberbullying
This is wrong because congress says you will get prosecuted by meanly excluding someone from your online group which sounds much different than just excluding someone. In the second article it says, “Intentionally and cruelly excluding someone from an online group.” This weakens the opponents claim because intentionally and cruelly excluding someone sounds, and is way worse than just asking them not to join your group. Either way we should let people, friend or foe, join our online group if they want because it’s a nice and selfless thing to do. Facts denote that cyberbullying is a crime of prosecution because it affects the victim more than you think, it will probably grow if not stopped now, and it can change the victim’s life forever. To sum it up, cyberbullies don’t immediately know how much harm they’ve done which can cause them to do more rude things, and it can grow because they think it’s funny and they aren’t punished severely for cyberbullying.
