Learning Swimming

There are several ways to know about something new. Knowing something new is really great thing. A lot of people depend on other people to get or learn a new idea, so that is not helpful to know or learn about something. Using the internet is best way to know something from, but sometimes the person has to know something in participle such as swimming and play soccer.
One of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do was learn how to swim. I was always afraid of the water, but I decided that swimming was an important skill that I should learn. I also thought it would be good exercise and help me to become physically stronger. What I didn’t realize was that learning to swim would also make me a more confident person.
I started learning swimming for 5 years ago, when I was in last year in middle school. I went to the swimming practicing in the gym, it is near from my home. The first day, I was very afraid and the coach told me to change my cloths, after that I went to the pool and was going down slowly to get in water. Then, the coach started leaning me how to move my body and swimming. I was always going to the gym and practice swimming until I learned well.
As a result, learning to swim was not easy for me, but in the end my persistence paid off. Not only did I learn how to swim and to conquer my fear of the water, but I also learned something about learning. Now when I am faced with a new situation I am not so nervous. I may feel uncomfortable to begin with, but Know that as I practice being in that situation and as my skills get better, I will feel more and more comfortable. It is a wonderful feeling when you achieve a goal you have set for yourself.

Victoria knows how to swim without assistance of a floatation device. She is not afraid to swim in the deep end of the pool. She can jump in the deep end, feet first, and submerge her face underwater. Victoria has very high energy, and is capable of moving through the water for long periods of time. Even though Victoria is capable of travelling all over the pool, her movements are very violent. On arm strokes, Victoria often hits the water with the palms of her hands. Her feet are far apart on her kicks and her toes are not pointed. The “Sports Skills Assessment - Level 1 Swimming Test” shows Victoria is capable of completing tasks such as: water adjustments,…

I learned to swim at age three and a half in the exact spot I continue to swim today. This is truly remarkable because I cannot describe my life in the summertime without swimming and it all originated at the most memorable spot possible. During my summers, swimming is always the answer to any question of what to do, all the way from slashing the clear, icy heaven after a scorching day's work or laying on a raft for stress relief. Swimming in the lake has kept me in shape throughout the off-season of basketball and astronomically affected my physical make up. As a child I always wanted to go swimming instead of sitting inside and this aspect of me stays true today and is proven by my golden-brown sun kissed skin in the…

Further, some of life's best lessons are learned from one's failures. I remember being ten years old when I experienced my first big competitive event on my jump rope team. I was with my sister and best friend and we had prepared for weeks for this event. In spite of perfect practices, we were humiliated by our poor performance and ran off the floor yelling at each other and crying. I never wanted to jump rope again! My parents chased after us to console us, but also to insist that we finish the competition. I felt like a failure, but in retrospect it was a good lesson in accepting disappointment. I was inspired to practice even more for the next competition, and eventually went on to win a world championship.…

In my opinion you can’t really achieve something if you don’t experience it yourself and in this case through the phrase ,that it is impossible to learn how to learn how to swim without getting wet because somebody may tell you his experience on how to make the movents correct and how you use it in the water and you can also practice out from the water but if you don’t get into the water to experience your self how you use them in the water you cant really learn to swim .I think this phrase want to show us that if you want to achieve and learn something you have to get into it so you will really be familiar with it.…
